Icelandic outerwear producer 66°North has been appointed the official clothing sponsor for Team Iceland at the upcoming 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics in Italy. As reported by Dazed Digital, the announcement comes as the Reykjavik-based company marks its 100th anniversary year. The brand will supply the Icelandic delegation with outfits for the opening ceremony on 6 February, including daily wear and training gear throughout the Games. The outfits will include the company’s well-known technical pieces, such as the Hornstrandir jacket and matching trousers, tailored for the athletes’ needs. Footwear at the ceremony and in training will be provided by Hoka, coinciding with 66°North’s launch as a Hoka stockist in Iceland. Founded in 1926 to produce protective gear for fishermen braving North Atlantic conditions, 66°North has since evolved into a global outerwear brand noted for durable, functional clothing. Iceland is scheduled to compete with a team of four athletes in alpine and cross-country skiing events at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
