However, officials warn that leftover food can attract other animals, including rats and seagulls, leading to litter and potential damage. In a public notice, cemetery administrators reminded visitors that it is prohibited to leave dirt, plant debris or any other materials on paths or roadways within the gardens if they may cause disturbance or create an unsightly environment. Food waste, they state, falls into this category. Cemeteries are maintained as quiet and orderly public spaces, and management has emphasised the importance of preserving their condition for visitors and families. Officials have urged members of the public to respect cemetery regulations and refrain from leaving food, or litter of any kind, in the grounds.
