Severe weather conditions have led to widespread travel disruption across Iceland, with international flights cancelled and several roads closed or impassable. Airlines including British Airways and Lufthansa have cancelled services, while some afternoon flights remain scheduled. The Icelandic Road Administration reported that multiple routes are currently closed or difficult to pass, including Bröttubrekka, Holtavörðuheiði and Dynjandisheiði. Conditions remain uncertain on several mountain roads, with closures possible at short notice. Emergency services have responded to weather-related incidents, including damage to a structure in Njarðvík and loose roofing materials in Selfoss. Authorities have also warned of potential slush floods in parts of the Westfjords. Yellow weather warnings have been issued nationwide, with hazardous travel conditions expected to continue throughout the day.
