Severe weather caused significant disruption to international air travel across Iceland yesterday, leaving around 2,000 passengers stranded on aircraft for extended periods. As reported by RÚV, flights were affected at Reykjavík Airport, Akureyri Airport and Egilsstaðir Airport, where passengers remained on board for up to three hours as crews awaited improved conditions.
